Hi blogger beauties

I hope everyone's doing fine! so I'm just writing this quick blog because browneyes247 told me I wasn't keeping up...and i definitely don't want to bore my readers.

So lately I have been preparing myself for fashion school which starts next week Monday and I know its going to be hectic with work an all, but I'm still excited to see what's new I'm going learn this semester. Not to mention I will be able to share with you guys what I am learning as well. can't wait..... ;)

The first thing I want to do is make myself a romper lol.

I am off tomorrow so I will try to do a makeup tutorial, "peacock theme"

Tomorrow as well on my long list of things to do is to purchase a vanity. I saw a really cute one so I'm thinking I might get that one. I don't think i really need one because i got my bathroom vanity custom made with draws to hold my hair and makeup products but i think with a vanity i would sit down and do more makeup post. :)

I also added some pics, from the last outing I was at, which was a teen pageant hope you like :)

Ans: It just wouldn't be the same, plus it would probrably just be pastry then. lol

Ans: Though both would be embarrassing lol, i would choose noticeably drunk on a national TV show because I wouldn't want to forever ruin the memories of my child's college graduation, esp when he/she meets up with fellow graduates later in life. :-)
4) Are you a dog or a cat person, or rather prefer a comodo dragon?
Ans: I love all animals! but def a cat person, cats are soo unconditionally lovable and snuggly.
5) Would you rather be rich and ugly, or poor and good looking?
Ans: Definitely rich and ugly, who cares if I'm ugly, I'm rich b*tch!!!!!
6) Your biggest pet peeve?
Ans: Liars, esp those that lie for no reason, like why lie sooo lame
7) Are you a spender or a saver?
Ans: I am a little of both, I know how to save, but i def endulge into my wants to a certain extent, I'll just say i reward myself for working so hard.

Ans: I would say Ashley, she def has some divaness inside her, I like her style!

Birthday goodies!

Hey ladies
So today in the Bahamas was sooooooo hott!! it was almost unbearable, the sun felt like it was right on my neck and yet i have another TWO MONTHS of this!!!! Im usually not one to favor the cooler months, but this year I can't wait for them to come. Good riddens summer!!
After working half off the day in the sun, then heading to the hospital to visit my cousin ( I'm so worried about her) I was pretty much beat that i simply crashed across my bed and fell asleep instantly but i promised my friend i would do a post tonight seeing that i was off tomorrow and didnt have to get up early, so................. that's exactly what I am doing at 12:26am.

Tonight i decided to do a post of all my birthday goodies that i got for my bday this month. Yes its a little late, but better late than never i say :-)

Its not much but its much more than I've been getting for the past few birthdays so thats a good thing.

So I got a few purses and bags. The coach bag and wallet was a gift to myself!

I like the larger black clutch (bottom right) because its cute & chic, but it still holds alot, especially for dressy gigs i have with my band. It can stil hold my make-up, hair brush etc to freshen up between breaks

My cousin bought me a few cute things in my favorite color. I have a thing for glasswear as well so she combined it. A birthday martini glass with pink (I luv her)

I also got a little pink clock and some picture/memo holders, ALL in my fav colors in pink and purple! My friends are the greatest!

I also got some polish in one of my favorite brands (kleancolor) in melon green & barbie pink. I will show later.

And of course whats gifts without someone feeding my shoe obsession. These are purple leopard print michael antonio's, I've been eyeing them for a while and i got them yipee :-)

And some clothes

My favorite piece its a sleeveless ripped spandex shirt (I love it on)

And some ripped (to the side) leggings sexy

So another quik post, this is my nail polish of the week!

A stab at makeup - my daily work face

Hey ladies

So as of late i started wearing makeup to work (to glamourize myself a bit) even though its hot as hell everyday and I've been getting some good response to it so yipee for me

So i decided to post this blog to show what i use for work.

So i use:

MAC select cover-up concealer (NC50)

MAC studio fix powder (NC50)

MAC studio finish concealer (NC42)

MAC blush (coppertone matte)

Jordana eyeshadow (chocolate)

Maybelline great lash mascara

NY Black eyeliner

NY lipgloss

blush brush, eyebrow brush, blending brush

Okay so i don't use foundation cuz its definitely tooooo hot for that.

I use the NC50 concealer for my dark cirlces and the NC42 concealer for under and on top of my eyebrow to lighten that area and make my eyebrows more refine.

I use the jordana chocolate eyeshadow to fill in my eyebrows and as a daily eyeshadow. Because I have (which i hate) "flap over" eyelids i use it in the crease to brighten my eyes and make them look bigger.

Everything else is pretty explanatory, I LOVE raccoon eyes so my black eyeliner, and mascara i dnt go without. They also make my eyes look bigger, which i wish i had larger eyes, I don't like my eyes. I only use maybelline great lash, because its the only mascara that can sort of control my extremely curled up eyelashes, they are sooo stubborn.

I pretty much just wear lipgloss for the most part when it comes to makeup because i have a very dark lipline naturally so with some lipgloss my lips are pretty much good to go. :)

Oh yeah and my MAC coppertone matte finish blush! Love it to death. I love the way it looks its perfect for me.

Let's get this train rolling

So finally things are in order to me to really get my blog on the go. Even though I have already posted a few things i am officially labelling this as my introduction.



So let me tell you a little about myself:

I am a recent 27 yr old, Bahamian (yes people I was born and raise and presently resides in the Bahamas lol). I love to dance and love everything fashion, infact i think if i lived in the US i would be broke lol. (things r much cheaper there than where i live and a very WIDE variety)

I currently sing in a band as well (which you will hear more about later)

I work at the Atlantis hotel which is one of the must-visit resort in the world, its has its advantages of working there, for now I LOVE working there now.

I am certified in esthetics (skin care), massage therapy and nail technology yipee for me, so all of that will come into play with my blog :)


I love everything PINK!!!!!and PURPLE!!!!!!!!! I'm crazy for them lol!

So for some reason I can't seem to go to sleep, even though i have work early in the morning. Maybe its because I'm excited that my computer is working again and I can't wait to spend some time on my blog.

And I have so much stuff to put on there, my trip to NYC, some hauls, and my bday pics which was on the 7th of this month. But of course I know I will never go to sleep if I really started dealing with that tonight.

However since I am ubba excited i decided to upload just one pic its from the morning of my

bday! I had a breakfast date with some of my closest girlfriends (more to come later)

Well now I'm gonna go force myself to bed because i know i will regret this in the morning :P
